The N2XB2Y is a robust low-voltage power cable designed for environments where standard PVC cables may not suffice. While it shares the same high-performance copper conductors and steel armor as the N2XBY, this model is upgraded with a Polyethylene (PE/2Y) Outer Sheath.

This PE sheath provides an impermeable moisture barrier, making the N2XB2Y the ultimate choice for installation in damp soil, wetlands, or areas with high water tables. It also offers exceptional resistance to abrasion and ground chemicals.

  • PE vs. PVC: Unlike standard PVC cables, the PE sheath on this N2XB2Y cable is rigid and hard. It is less flexible but much stronger.
  • Flammability: Standard PE is NOT flame retardant. If your project requires Fire Retardant properties (IEC 60332), please request our N2XBY (PVC) model or ask for a customized FR-PE sheath.
