Low-Voltage Power Cable 0.6/1kV - XLPE Insulated, PVC Sheathed (N2XY / NA2XY type)
Application
Copper or aluminium conductor, XLPE insulated, PVC sheathed power cables for energy supply and distribution in low-voltage networks. Suitable for fixed installation in:
  • Power stations, substations, industrial plants, and commercial buildings
  • Local distribution systems
  • Direct burial in ground (where no mechanical damage is anticipated)
  • Cable ducts, trenches and concrete troughs
  • Indoors and outdoors (on cable trays, ladders, in racks)
  • Water (occasional submersion, provided ends are properly sealed)
Capable of withstanding limited pulling forces during installation.
Not permitted: Installation of single-core variants in ferromagnetic (steel) conduits or pipes due to induced eddy-current heating under AC operation.
